More than a quick medication visit
Psychiatric symptoms affect more than mood. They can change sleep, relationships, school performance, work, routines, confidence, and the ability to manage everyday responsibilities. Open Phase Health takes time to understand those connections before developing a treatment plan.
Support for changing demands
Adolescents, college students, young adults, parents, professionals, and older adults may seek help when old coping strategies no longer match current demands. Virtual visits offer a consistent way to review symptoms, monitor treatment, and make adjustments without traveling to a clinic.
Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, panic, trauma-related symptoms, mood disorders, substance use and recovery, sleep concerns, burnout, grief, and life transitions.
How medication decisions are made
Medication management includes education, review of prior treatment, discussion of benefits and risks, side-effect monitoring, and collaborative planning. Open Phase Health does not currently prescribe controlled medications to patients located in Washington.
When another provider, therapist, school, or specialist is involved, coordination may be recommended with appropriate authorization.
Can a child or teen receive care by telehealth?
Yes, beginning at age 6 when clinically appropriate. Parent or guardian involvement is tailored to age, consent, symptoms, and treatment needs.
Can I receive therapy only?
Open Phase Health provides supportive therapy within psychiatric visits but is not currently presented as a stand-alone weekly psychotherapy practice.
What if I need urgent help?
Open Phase Health is not an emergency service. Call 911 for immediate danger or call or text 988 for 24/7 crisis support.
