Access without losing depth
Virtual care can make psychiatric appointments more accessible for patients who live at a distance from specialty services, have demanding schedules, or prefer to meet from a familiar environment. The convenience of telehealth should not replace careful evaluation.
Dr. Tracie reviews symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, sleep, stress, medications, relationships, school or work, substance use when relevant, and the effect of symptoms on everyday functioning.
Services available in Idaho
Open Phase Health offers integrative psychiatric evaluation, psychiatric medication management, ADHD evaluation and treatment, supportive therapeutic interventions during medication visits, patient education, and care coordination when appropriate.
Common areas of concern include anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma-related symptoms, mood disorders, panic, substance use and recovery, sleep difficulties, burnout, grief, chronic stress, and life transitions.
Medication options are individualized
Medication may be one part of treatment, but it is not automatic. Decisions consider symptoms, prior treatment, side effects, health history, monitoring needs, and patient preferences. Open Phase Health does not currently prescribe controlled medications to patients located in Idaho.
Do I need a referral?
Referral requirements can depend on your insurance or care arrangement. Open Phase Health can review basic scheduling and eligibility questions before the first visit.
Can telehealth evaluate ADHD?
Yes, when clinically appropriate. A complete ADHD evaluation examines current and childhood patterns, functioning across settings, and other conditions that can affect attention.
Will I receive a diagnosis at the first visit?
Sometimes a working diagnosis is appropriate. In other cases, additional history, records, questionnaires, collateral information, or follow-up may be needed.
